Are you a local staple, a rising brand, or a community organization? We’re looking for the authentic backdrops that make our neighborhoods move. Whether it’s featuring your location as a primary set or highlighting your brand in our Diversity Series visuals, we want to showcase the real spaces that keep the culture thriving.

Every celebration starts with community. This tier helps support the production and keep the spirit of Dominican culture shining bright. Contributors will be listed on the project supporter page as part of the community that helped bring the visual to life.

Help spotlight the culture that makes our neighborhoods vibrant. Your name or business will be highlighted as part of the community supporting this celebration of Dominican pride, and recognized in recap social media posts following the release.

Stand proudly behind the culture. Culture Champions receive an on-screen credit in the visual itself and will be recognized as part of the group helping amplify Dominican creativity, community, and cultural pride in New York City.

Dancer Badge Featured Dancers – Paid Positions

We’re casting dancers to bring energy, grit, and style to the visual. Open to dancers of all skill levels. Travel within Manhattan required.

Paid position: $75 per hour (2 hour minimum)

We’re casting creative talent to bring cultural energy and visibility to the visual. Must be comfortable on camera and collaborating on the fly.

Filming will be mobile & guerilla style meaning we’ll be working with a streamlined, fast-moving crew in real environments to capture spontaneous, high-energy moments—focusing on authentic interactions and the raw feel of the culture in motion rather than a staged, closed-set production. Music will be played in short bursts to capture energy.

BIO 

I built SPARK’D By Yelley because I was tired of watching my best ideas die on the vine.

Year after year I'd see my visions, plans, and potential collect dust, disintegrate, or come to fruition through others, people who had the resources, support, time, focus, or courage I didn't have.

Good, viable ideas would fall by the wayside because I couldn't find the right tools, the right help, the energy, because I didn't want to tap dance for the "algorithm," and because I couldn't break out of survival mode.

A Life of Pivots

A pretty, linear path was never meant for someone like me, a politely free-spirited, wild-child, ball of contradictions, a natural challenger of norms. I had to finally channel my efforts towards myself and develop a unique framework for my life. That process has required constant adjusting and refining. You may need a new framework to break out of your creative rut too!

SPARK’D By Yelley isn't just a consulting firm. It’s the partner I needed when I was stuck for years. Years of knowing, very clearly, what I wanted to create for myself and the world, but not knowing how to get there. I call this my Wilderness Era— it felt like I was out in the wild wandering, wasting time, and battling the elements, threats seen and unseen.

No one seemed to truly understand. For most of us, our creative journey isn't respected by others until we gain success, in the traditional, visible sense.

But that is why it's so important to protect your light and find who or what positively  stokes your flames. You may even have to find the strength to do it yourself.

If any of this resonates with you, I want you to know that I get it. But I don't just get it, I genuinely want to help you!

Your goals, your dreams, they MATTER. YOU MATTER.

(Side note: And guess what? It may not be easy, but it's possible to be authentically creative AND generate income, impact, or whatever it is you seek.)

Creative Direction

It's really simple. I want to CREATE beautiful things, jarring things, thought-provoking things, fun things, real things—and I want to help you CREATE too.

People forget how much creativity contributes to life. Imagine a world without color, music, innovation, or progress. Imagine where we'd be without people who thought beyond the here & now.

That being said, you don't have to be a world-changing Visionary for your ideas to be valuable or powerful. Maybe you're throwing a festive dinner party for your loved ones, taking photos for your living room wall, making a mini documentary for your anniversary, team-building with your staff, giving a presentation for your community organization, or plotting a revolution (kidding. or am I?).

Whatever the project, large or small—it's worthy. And if you want help, I will do my best to execute your vision.
